Reviewing Guidelines

On this blog, each song will get a review. Some songs might also get comments if I feel that either my score deserves an explanation, or that I have some things to say about the song. Songs that I find particularly good will get comments, and songs that I find particularly bad will also get comments.

The whole album score isn't an average of each individual song, but an overall impression of the album. It is based on the consistency of the album, the quality of the songs, the diversity, as well as other factors, such as the previous albums of the artist, personal taste, what the album brings to the new country music genre as a whole, etc.

The albums will each get comments of course, which will be a discussion about the score it got and the reason why the album got that score.
